About

I am a Licensed Psychologist specializing in lifespan adjustment and clinical issues. In my private practice in Brooklyn, NY I work with a broad spectrum of clients as an experienced and active, engaged therapist. I work hard to move my clients forward in their lives. I enlist different methods and techniques as we determine what is needed and can be effective. I offer confidential treatment in a supportive atmosphere to individuals and couples.

My doctoral internships were in foster care, adolescent residential treatment and outpatient clinical settings. My 25 years experience post-licensure included consulting work with work in NJ Division of Child and Family Services, with the NJ Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, and as Court's Expert in Ocean County (NJ) Family Court where I performed child custody evaluations. I am a Consultant with several Early Intervention (and other) agencies for whom I provide treatment and perform evaluations.

I began my mental health career as an art therapist and worked in clinical settings including inpatient units for psychiatric and developmentally-disabled children and adults, nursing homes, in outpatient clinics and therapeutic nursery schools.

I have pursued post-doctoral training in the many areas: stepfamily and couples therapy, trauma treatment, child behavior including ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, and more. I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist.
